Honey Buttercream Icing
1 cup unsalted butter softened
1/3 cup + 2 Tbsp. Tu-Bees Honey
4-5 cups Powdered Sugar (aka - Icing Sugar)
Cream together the butter and honey for 2 mins. Add 2 cups of powdered sugar. Start on low speed and beat until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the remaining sugar (1 cup at a time). Beat well after each addition until the icing is thick enough for spreading consistency. Use milk to thin out frosting to reach desired consistency.
No Bake Energy Bites
1 cup dry oatmeal
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup of ground flax seed
1/3 cup Tu-Bees Honey
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine oatmeal, chocolate chips, peanut butter, ground flax seed, gourmet honey, and vanilla together in a bowl. Cover and chill dough in the refrigerator for 30 mins. Remove dough from refrigerator and then roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
Maple Honey Salmon
1/4 cup of Tu-Bees Maple Gourmet Honey
2 TBSP Soya Sauce
1 clove of Garlic, Minced
1/8 tsp. Garlic Salt
1/8 tsp. of Black Pepper
1 pound of fresh salmon
Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then coat the salmon with the mixture.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Flip the salmon over and then continue to refrigerate for another 15 minutes to evenly marinate the salmon.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Place salmon in oven uncovered and bake for 20 minutes or until flaky.
