Ingredients

1 cup ketchup

1/3 cup Black Cherry Gourmet Honey

4 TBSP cider vinegar

1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon minced garlic

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter, softened

2/3 cups sugar

3/4 cup coconut gourmet honey

3 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

2/3 cup baking cocoa

1-1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1-1/4 cups milk

Recipe Directions

In a bowl, cream butter, sugar and Coconut Gourmet Honey until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating until smooth after each addition. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13-in. x 9-in. pan. 

Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool on a wire rack. When cake is cool, dust with confectioners' sugar or frost with Tu-Bees Gourmet Buttercream Honey.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour or white whole wheat flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup Tu-Bees Coconut Gourmet Honey

1/4 cup canola oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup powdered sugar (icing sugar) for coating the cookies.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until combined. Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the oil, granulated sugar and honey. Beat on medium-high for 2 minutes or until mixture is light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating on medium speed until completely combined. Add vanilla and mix. Gradually add the flour mixture, beat on medium low until combined.

Form the dough into a large ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until the dough is chilled completely.

When you are ready to bake the cookies, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and unwrap your dough. Roll the dough into one inch balls, dip them into the powdered sugar (make sure to cover completely), then place them 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and let them cool to room temperature.

Ingredients

1 large - ripe mango, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup - red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup - red onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. - fresh cilantro, chopped
2 Tbsp. - fresh lime juice, divided
1 Tbsp. – Tu-Bees Coconut Gourmet Honey
1 small - jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

1/3 cup – Tu-Bees Coconut Gourmet Honey
2 Tbsp. - Mexican hot sauce
4 (4 to 6-oz.) - chicken breasts

Recipe Directions

To prepare the salsa, combine the mango, bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, 1 tablespoon honey and jalapeno in a medium bowl. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Whisk together the honey, hot sauce and remaining lime juice in a small bowl.

Rinse the chicken and pat dry; brush liberally with honey mixture. Grill over medium heat until lightly browned. Turn and continue to cook chicken while brushing on the sauce.

Easy Peasy Crumb Cake

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup Gourmet Honey

2 eggs

1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

TOPPING:

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons sweetened shredded coconut

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Combine the topping ingredients and set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and honey until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in sour cream and vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.

Spread half into a greased 9-in. square baking pan.

Sprinkle half of the topping ingredients over the batter.  Carefully spread remaining batter on top and sprinkle the remaining topping on. With a knife, gently swirl topping ingredients into the batter.

Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until done (when a toothpick from the centre comes out clean)

Ginger Honey Chicken

Ingredients

2 pounds diced uncooked chicken breast

1/3 cup flour

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Pepper to taste

4 Tbsp. butter (not margarine)

1/4 cup Tu-Bees Gourmet Ginger Honey

3 Tbsp. lemon juice

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1/2 tsp. ground ginger (optional - add only if you really REALLY love a strong tasting ginger)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a shallow dish combine the flour, garlic powder and pepper. Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture and make sure it is evenly covered. Melt 2 Tbsp. of butter in a shallow baking dish, large enough to accommodate the chicken in a single layer. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then turn the pieces over.

In a small saucepan, melt the remaining butter and add the Tu-Bees Gourmet Ginger Honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and ginger (if you want a strong ginger taste). Pour the mixture over the chicken and continue to bake another 30 minutes. Be sure to mix the chicken around or continuously baste it while it is cooking. Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature 

1/3 cup “plus” an additional 2 Tbsp. of Tu-Bees Gourmet Honey 

4-5 cups powdered sugar (aka - icing sugar)

Recipe Directions

In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and honey for 2 minutes.

Add 2 cups of the powdered sugar. Start on low speed, beat until smooth and creamy.

Gradually add the remaining sugar (1 cup at a time).

Beat well after each addition until the icing is thick enough for spreading consistency.

4 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Ingredients

1/3 cup shortening

1/3 cup honey

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup 2% milk

¼ cup butter

1 cup peanut butter

1 TBSP Tu-Bees Honey (any flavour or pure creamed)

1 cup of powdered sugar

1 ½ cup graham crumbs

1 oz. semi sweet chocolate

1/3 cup sliced toasted almonds

Ingredients

1/3 cup Tu-Bees Honey (choice of Plain, Coconut, Pumpkin Spice, or Cinnamon)

1/3 cup light corn syrup

2 cups old fashioned rolled oats

3 Tbsp. coconut oil

1/4 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

4 Tbsp. mini semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (I used 1/2 cup but that’s just because I am a chocolate lover!

Mix together honey, syrup, oil, spices, vanilla and oats. Gently stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Let cool completely then drizzle melted white chocolate over granola (optional).

Raspberry Meatballs

Ingredients

For 12 - 24 meatballs (max. 2 (two) pounds of ground beef)

1/2 cup raspberries puree

1/3 cup Tu-Bees Raspberry Gourmet Honey

3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 and 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated or minced)

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Spray your crock-pot with nonstick spray.

In a bowl, combine the pureed raspberries, Tu-Bees Raspberry Gourmet Honey, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes.  Blend them together, using a whisk, to make sure the cornstarch does not become lumpy.  Set aside 1/2 cup to use later.

Make meatballs and lay them out in layers in the slow cooker.  Pour the raspberry sauce over ever layer that you add.

Cover and cook on low for 5 hours, or on high for 2 and 1/2 hours.

Remove the lid to add the ginger and the 1/2 cup of reserved sauce.

Cook on high for another 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

1 pound of stewing beef – cut into cubes

2 teaspoons of minced garlic

1/2 cup Tu-Bees Ginger Gourmet Honey

2 TBSP. rice vinegar (white vinegar can be substituted)

3 TBSP soy sauce

1 TBSP Red Pepper Flakes

Recipe Directions

Brown stewing beef and put into slow cooker.

Combine garlic, honey, vinegar, soy sauce and red pepper flakes. Pour over top of meat in slow cooker. Cook on high for 2 hours stirring occasionally to cook sauce into the meat.
