Pure Creamed Tub


Our Pure Creamed Honey is a blend of the finest crops of the Canadian prairies ~ canola, alfalfa and clover. As the first product our company produced, it has been the trailblazer for the flavours that have followed. Delicious by nature and completely gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free.

6 cups flour

2 teaspoons honey

5 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 c milk

2 Tbsp oil

1 1/2 cups warm water

Recipe Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thick.  Cut into whatever shape you want and fry in oil until golden brown.


Cinnamon Honey Drizzle


1 cup sugar

1/2 cup Tu-Bees Gourmet Honey

2 TBSP lemon juice

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3/4 cup water.

Recipe Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, Tu-Bees Gourmet Honey, lemon juice, cinnamon and water. Bring to a boil over med/high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then reduce heat to med/low and boil additional 4 min without stirring. Remove from heat and let the drizzling begin!!

Old Fashioned Honey Cake


1/3 cup shortening

1/3 cup Tu-Bees Gourmet Honey

1 egg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup 2% milk

Recipe Directions

In a small bowl, cream shortening and honey.  Add egg and beat well. Stir in vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking powder and salt.  Add gradually to the creamed mixture alternating it with the milk. Beat on medium speed for two minutes.

Pour into a square cake pan and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. Check the cake by inserting a toothpick into the centre.  If it comes out clean, it is done.

Cool for 10 - 15 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. 

Once cooled, frost with Tu-Bees Gourmet Honey Buttercream Icing
