Nothing says Canadian like the great taste of our Maple Honey. Made with all natural flavours and Canadian Honey, it's rich in taste and strongly recommended for use in butters and spreads.
Maple Honey Salmon
1/4 cup Tu-Bees Maple Gourmet Honey
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 lb. salmon
Place salmon in shallow glass baking dish. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Coat the salmon with the mixture. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Flip the salmon over and then continue to refrigerate for another 15 minutes to evenly marinate the salmon.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place salmon in oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until flaky.
Maple Honey Texas Butter
2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup Tu-Bees Maple Gourmet Honey
Real Bacon Bits (optional)
Whip butter until light and fluffy.
Add the maple gourmet honey and continue to whip.
Stir in real bacon bits (optional) and spread onto bread, buns or toast.
Note: Do not use artificial bacon bits, only real bacon bits (dried).
Easy Peasy Crumb Cake
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup TuBees Gourmet Maple Honey
1 cup (8oz) sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
For the Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. sweetened shredded coconut
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
In a large bowl, cream the butter and honey until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, and add to the creamed mixture. Mix well and spread half into a greased 9-inch square baking pan.
Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle half over batter. Carefully spread remaining batter on top and sprinkle with remaining topping. Gently swirl topping through batter with a knife.
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes on a wire rack.
