Our Tu-Bees Gourmet Lemon Honey is made with 100% Canadian honey and natural lemon essential oils. Combining a bit of sweet and sour in an extraordinary taste, which likens in similarity almost to Lemon Meringue Pie. It's a great addition to any herbal tea, as well as glazes, icings, and baking recipes.
Lemon Honey Salmon
1/4 cup of Tu-Bees Lemon Gourmet Honey
2 TBSP of Soya Sauce
1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
1/8 tsp. of Garlic Salt
1/8 tsp. of Black Pepper
1 lb. of Salmon
Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then coat the salmon with the mixture.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Flip the salmon over and then continue to refrigerate for another 15 minutes to evenly marinate the salmon.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Place salmon in oven uncovered and bake for 20 minutes or until flaky.
Lemon Honey Icing
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/3 cup + 2 Tbsp. Tu-Bees Lemon Gourmet Honey
4-5 cups powdered sugar
In a stand mixer, cream together butter and honey for 2 minutes.
Add 2 cups of powdered sugar. Starting on low speed, beat until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the remaining sugar. Beat until the icing is thick. Use milk to thin out frosting if necessary.
Lemon Honey Glaze
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Tu-Bees Lemon Gourmet Honey
1/2 fresh ground ginger
Combine all ingredients and use as a glaze for barbecuing, frying, or baking chicken.
