All of our Tu-Bees honey products are unpasteurized. The honey is filtered to remove any body parts left behind by the bees (butts, wings, legs) and bees wax, but it is not pasteurized.
Our pure natural honey is drawn from hives in the Southern part of Saskatchewan. Our honey is a blend of canola, alfalfa and clover.
Yes, our tubes are BPA-free and Phthalate-free, making them safe for you and your family.
You can soften your honey in the tubes by placing them on a piece of cardboard or non heat-soluble surface in your oven.
Do not turn your oven on, simply turn on your oven light and leave the tubes in the oven for approximately 30 minutes.
Check the tubes by squishing the sides, be careful not to leave them for too long to prevent the honey from becoming liquified.
Squeeze the sides of the tube and knead it to soften the honey. Poke the neck of the tube with a toothpick to clear the honey from the opening.
Do not microwave.
Saskatoon Berry is our number one flavour with Maple coming in at a close second. Of course Cinnamon and Lemon are very popular as well for in teas and hot water.
Our flavours are made with all natural ingredients. We do not use any artificial ingredients in any of our flavours. Our flavours are also Gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free.
Honey on its own is kosher. We; however, wanted to spice up the kosher honey selection by carrying a complete line of OU Kosher certified flavours.
